The rear suspension is in and now needs to be set up. New axles installed. Some paint to finish things up next.

The roll cage is started and has been tied into the back-half frame work. Two swing-out side bars are to follow.

These pictures are not exactly in order, I have not had the time to post much lately. The car is starting to come together with a new set of drop spindles in the front to give it that Hot Rod attitude.

I am posting some new pics of the 55 today for a buddy of mine, Bob. Just got off the phone with Bob, he is a car guy from out east. Hey Bob, if you get a chance send me some pics of your Blazer to post. Bob did a wicked job of resto-rodding his Blazer and uses it as a daily driver too.

This is the new rear frame assembly for Bill's 55. And a picture of the frame tacked into place. The diff will be narrowed to fit and the 4 link installed.

55 Chevy

Here is a picture of the 55 that is getting a 4 link soon. More pictures of this and some other cool rides will be posted on the www.bcspeedandcustom.com web site in the next little while.

Bill's 55 has a tilt front end and a blown small block. This car cruises the sunny Okanagan and hits most of the local car shows.

Cruise on out and look for it in the spring/early summer. Gary.

Check out the new addition to the family, a nice steel 27 Chev. I think this will look wicked as a hot rod or even a rad rat rod. Long term project that we are going to modify on as few dollars as possible. There should be many transformations along the way. It will be a challenge and a ton of fun.

Blogging is a new thing for me. This is a test run, kind of like testing the car. Run it and see what happens. Below are pictures of our new car testing and with the new body on. We are trying out Google's web page maker as well. It can be viewed at alkyride.googlepages.com

The car ran a 5.21 @ 133mph in the 1/8th mile on the first outing. Much better than expected for a test run. That run was fat and lazy with 16lbs of boost and at 7000 feet corrected. It should run a little harder with a better tune up.
